Molly in May

I can't believe it is already June! 2009 has seriously flown by and now our wedding is only a year away. It seemed like our engagement was going to last forever, but now that we are coming down to the one year mark, I feel a little nervous. Crazy as that may sound for all those brides with short engagements. :)

I don't know if it is because things have been so crazy and so much has been going on this year... but it seems unreal that half of it is already over. May was a strange month with even stranger weather. April flowers are supposed to bring May flowers, but we had quite some rain and even a few thunderstorms and of all thing - hail in sunny southern California! After the short hail storm we took Molly out to see the steam rising off of the asphalt due to the hot sun quickly cooling off the cold rain. It was really neat. Molly had tons of fun running around the wet grass while basking in the sun. Anyways, here is my favorite shot of her from that day. I call it Molly in May. :)
