It has been a long break between my vendor reviews, but we have been super busy enjoying post wedding bliss, creating/writing thank you notes, MOVING and settling in... I hope to get back into the groove of blogging soon. Especially since hubby has set up a nice little desk area for me next to the window, with a huge monitor and cute chair! What more does a girl need? ;)
In the meantime, I can't get this out of my head. I have been dying to blog about it and don't want to wait any longer!! Vendor reviews will just have to wait! ;)
Eco-friendly weddings are so "in" right now (for good reason) and how unique and special would a personalized, laser-cut or engraved wooden invitation be to act as a first impression to your guests? These two are by the well-known Night Owl Paper Goods and can be found among their other pre-designed wedding invite collection:
If you don't want to work with wood (although bamboo would be AWESOME), you can laser-cut just about anything else! metal? glass? cardboard? fabric? how about acrylic?! I don't know what it is about boxes and sheets of acrylic that feels so cool, clean and modern to me. But it would definitely make an impact in the mailbox! Or if you are having a winery wedding and want to have corks double as escort card holders, you can even laser-engrave those corks! They even laser-cut custom-rubber stamps, so if you want a personalized stamp of your new return address or certain images necessary for your event, why not make the Laser Cutting Shop, your one-stop-shop?! The possibilities are endless!
And if you are getting a special wedding gift for your hubby-to-be, why not consider laser engraving it with your wedding date, or a special message? I love gifts that can be family heirlooms with beautiful stories attached...

I only wish I had known about this great resource BEFORE our wedding... but a girl can dream :) Hopefully this info helps one of you in the meantime! xoxo!
