preparing for presents and the holidays

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

I saw this image of a church with gingerbread work on Creature Comforts and it put me in the mood for the holidays...

I think I will use this pretty pale blue and cream color scheme for my holiday cards and decor this year!

It reminded me of the japanese masking tape I have been hoping to buy.  I recently even came across this website, Happy Tape, that sells the best variety of colors and widths. How perfect would these be for wrapping gifts for weddings and/or the holidays?

And if you want to top of your gifts with a personalized home-made gift bow, How About Orange provides a great tutorial! I especially like the one they made out of a Chicago map. :)
