Janine and Casey - Happily Ever After!

Friday, March 25, 2011

I know it has been woefully silent here on the blog, so thank you SO much if you are still here and reading this! :) Wedding season is officially in full swing, but unofficially, we have been in full swing here at So Happi Together ever since the new year began! We already have three 2011 weddings, 3 photo shoots and 2 engagement sessions under our belt and are hitting the ground running with spring and summer weddings right around the corner. Other personal matters have also been adding to the silence on the blog, but I will be announcing that news next week! ;)

In the meantime, I wanted to drop in and share that one of our fabulous 2010 weddings was featured on The Wedding Chicks a few weeks back! I feel so honored to be featured on such an inspiring site and with such amazing vendors. You may remember Janine and Casey from the sneak peek I blogged a few months ago or their circus-inspired engagement shoot that we styled and had featured on Green Wedding Shoes here. I have been dying to share these images and this creative couple's lovely wedding and am so happy to finally be able to do so!

Brandon Kidd is the insane talent behind these photos and I have to say that he and his wife Kristin make any wedding day 100x better and more beautiful with their presence and their photography. LOVE these two, and feel so fortunate to call them friends. :) So, without further ado, please enjoy some of my favorite images from this steam/gear punk inspired wedding and be sure to check out The Wedding Chicks and Brandon's blog for more yummy eye candy!

I could live in the folds of Janine's delicious Vera Wang gown. heaven.

The ceremony recessional was led by a bag piper. Just one of the many cultural elements included in their wedding day.

Love the vintage steampunk details and pure fun they had with their wedding.

These images taken at the historic Ebell Theatre are so dreamy and perfect. Every newlywed should be so lucky! Aren't Janine and Casey so beautiful and in love??

The reception, fully set and ready for guests to arrive.

A few of the details from the wedding. Yes, that is my own copy of their invitation and save the date, which I kept and brought with me to the wedding to make sure Brandon was able to get a pro pic of Janine and Casey's hard work!! ;)

And I leave you with a picture of So Happi Together and Brandon Kidd Photography hamming it up at the photo booth that Casey (the groom) made with the help of his brother! Isn't it fab?? Yes, we have too much fun doing what we do. :)

Happy Friday!! I hope you all stay dry and healthy and have a love-filled weekend surrounded by the people who you hold dear to your hearts. With so much happening in the world around us, I am constantly reminded to cherish each day and thank God for every moment I have been given to be happy with and near to those I love. Thanks for stopping by! xoxo!!
