Whew! That may have been the longest sabbatical I have taken from blogging in a while! We are busy, busy here prepping for our fabulous 2012 weddings, and some 2013 weddings as well! But that is no excuse for keeping the images and details from our lovely 2011 weddings from you all! To get back in to the groove of blogging, I will start with the FUN wedding of the gorgeous Diana and Michael. Believe me, there is no better place to start.
Let me preface this post by saying, I seriously love these two. They are the most sweet, genuine and loving couple you will ever meet. Really. Their wedding was a month before my due date and please keep in mind, I was supposed to be on mandatory bed rest during the last 3 months of my pregnancy. So, these two were definitely not working with me during my "prime" but they were the epitome of patience, graciousness and understanding. The week before their wedding I was in a condition where everyday was a concern that I might have to go into emergency labor due to elle's condition in my womb and my reaction to the pregnancy hormones. I even had a back-up day-of planner on hold for their day! However, with my doctor's knowledge but against his wishes, I was able to celebrate alongside Diana and Michael and am so glad I didn't miss it! I was only planning to oversee set-up and styling and leave after the first dance, but I couldn't tear myself away from these two and stayed until the end of the night! These amazing images by He and She Photography truly capture their love and the energy of the day.
I love these two images of them during the calm of the day. breathtaking.
Here are my swollen pregger fingers tying perfect bows with the bridesmaid's sashes. I love this image because you see baby elle poking into the left bottom corner. :)
I am absolutely smitten with Diana's wedding gown. It is her mother's wedding gown, re-fashioned by Vivian from Tomato weddings to look more contemporary and fit Diana perfectly!
The Cravens Estate is no longer hosting weddings/events, which is such a shame because it is really so beautiful in there! If you are a fan of Glee, the Warblers' school is filmed here!
I know I already shared how fun and awesome Diana and Michael are, but these following pictures speak way louder than my words.

And all the lovely faces of our glowing bride, Diana. :)
Fun details! We made these ribbon wands, programs and signage for the ceremony.
I love when my vintage gold birds are able to get off of elle's bookshelf and help us out at weddings!

The light-filled ceremony and first kiss!
We lined the walk way that guests came down with these "love is..." cartoon clippings that Diana and Michael saved and pictures from their engagement session.
Michael cut each of these wooden escort "cards" and Diana and her sister embossed guest names onto each wood piece. My team tied table tags that I created around each corresponding wood piece with gray and white twine. Succulents from my home garden were used throughout the wedding and added just the right amount peachy-green to the day!
Cindy from Floral Elements designed all the florals for the day and was able to incorporate my succulents into little vignettes and arrangements everywhere! I love the lush dinner plate dahlias and garden roses that she was also able to include! Diana and Michael visited several flea markets to source many of the vessels for their flowers and borrowed the remaining pieces from my personal collection of jars, milk glass vases, glass & crystal bud vases.

Key pieces from Found Vintage Rentals were the added for the perfect amount of vintage styling.

One of the most special parts of their day was the cake and pie bar that was baked and provided entirely by Diana's mother! If you want legit baked goodies, look no further! These were drool-worthy delish and you can contact her if you would like to consider similar desserts for your special day! Visit her site here!
Diana's sister made the chalkboard menu and I have to say, this is one talented family, right? ;)

And I leave you with these - some of my favorite images from their day!
Diana and Michael, I love you both dearly and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for putting up with my crazy pregnancy brain and letting me be a part of your celebration. You two deserve nothing but the best and I pray that your marriage is filled with as much happiness as the two of you bring to others. xoxo!!
